1.01.010 Code adopted.

We, the elected officials of the City of Houston, Alaska, mindful of the responsibilities for the welfare of our community which we hold as the City Council of a second class city incorporated under the Constitution and laws of the state of Alaska, and in order to provide local government of service to our people to meet their needs, do establish and adopt the ordinances codified in this code to be the code of ordinances for the City of Houston.
