2.04.080 Officers.

The Council shall be composed of seven members, one of whom shall be appointed by and from the Council to serve as Mayor and one of whom shall be appointed by and from the Council to serve as Deputy Mayor. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are appointed for one-year terms. In the event of a vacancy in either office, the Council shall appoint one of the remaining members to fill the vacancy until the next regular election. (Ord. 74-A-2 § 2.3, 1975; Ord. 97-06, 1997)
