2.16.010 Designated.

The City Clerk/Treasurer, Attorney, Treasurer, Police Chief and Fire Chief are appointed by the Chief Administrator, and must be confirmed by the Council. Appointed officers serve at the pleasure of the Council the length of their services determined by the Council. If any officer is dismissed, the reason for dismissal must be given to the officer, in writing and signed by four or more members of the Council.
