2.24.010 Designated.

A. All municipal officers, elected or appointed, before taking office, shall swear or affirm in writing that they will honestly, faithfully and impartially perform their duties.

The oath or affirmation will be substantially as follows:

I,__________________________, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Alaska, the laws of this City, and that I will honestly, faithfully and impartially discharge my duties as ____________________ to the best of my ability.
