2.44.020 Public notices.
A. It is the intention of the City to aggressively pursue public notification of City activities, policies and actions. Any City action requiring public notice is posted for at least three days at the City offices, and at least one place of business, and at another public place of general public traffic in the community.
B. Public notice is given for the following:
1. Public hearing;
2. Regular and special meetings of the City Council;
3. Other City actions as described in this chapter which require public notice.
C. In an emergency, the City Council may meet after 24 hours’ notice on the call of the Mayor or two Councilmembers. Actions taken at such a meeting are posted within one week for three days as required by this chapter. (Ord. 85-02 § 4, 1985; Ord. 99-01, 1999)
