FINANCE DEPARTMENT

2.28.010 Established.
There is established within the administration of the city a department of finance. The department shall be directed by a director of finance. The finance director shall have substantial training as an accountant and be experienced in municipal type accounting and administration of municipal affairs. 2.28.020 Fiscal procedures.
The records and accounts of the department of finance shall be kept in accordance with recognized municipal accounting procedures as set forth in various municipal accounting manuals. (Prior code § 9-36)
