No person shall swim, wade, soak or bathe in any public lake, slough or stream or areas within the city declared unsafe by health officials. This section shall not apply to such places as are designated as official city recreation areas. [Prior code § 10.04.010.]
8.04.020 Violation – Penalty.
Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter shall upon conviction thereof be fined in any sum not to exceed fifty dollars ($50) or be imprisoned for any period not to exceed ten (10) days, or both so fined and imprisoned. [Prior code § 10.04.020.]
