1.25.020 Purpose.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) The purpose of this chapter is to:
(1) Provide a procedure for designating borough officials with authority to enforce portions of the borough code; and
(2) Provide a standardized fine schedule for certain violations of the borough code.
(b) These fine provisions are intended to provide a set penalty for certain listed violations of the borough code which are infractions. Fines set out in KGBC 1.25.050 are separate from and cumulative to penalties, costs, assessments or any other remedy allowed under other sections of the borough code and the police training surcharge imposed under AS 29.25.074 and KGBC 1.25.070(b).
