There is established the Alpine County free library. (Ord. 299 § 1, 1970)

2.48.020 Library commission Creation—Duties.

The board of supervisors has heretofore created by resolution an Alpine County library commission, which commission shall make recommendations to the board of supervisors for the operation, expansion and maintenance of the Alpine County free library system. (Ord. 299 § 2, 1970)
