2.60.010 Title.

The ordinance codified in this chapter shall be known and may be cited as the fish and game commission ordinance of the county. (Ord. 381 § 1, 1978)

2.60.020 Purpose of provisions.

The purpose of this chapter is to establish a fish and game commission, provide for the appointment of said commission and to establish rules and regulations for the conduct of business of said commission. (Ord. 381 § 3, 1978)

2.60.030 Established—Membership—Appointment.

There is established the Alpine County fish and game commission, which shall be composed of seven members, to be appointed and hold office at the pleasure of the board of supervisors for a four-year term to commence on January 1st of the year in which they are appointed unless the term of office is sooner ended by action of the board of supervisors or by resignation of commission member, in which case a successor, upon proper advertisement, shall be appointed to hold office for the unexpired term. 2.60.040 Terms of office.

The terms of the present commission are established as follows. The four shorter terms shall end December 31, 1979 and the three longer terms shall end December 31, 1981. All terms following these dates shall be for four years. (Ord. 381 § 5, 1978)

2.60.050 Bylaws established.

The rules and regulations for the operation, maintenance, and administration of the fish and game commission are the established bylaws pursuant to Exhibit “A” attached to the ordinance codified in this chapter and made a part hereof by reference. (Ord. 381 § 6, 1978)

2.60.060 Amendment of bylaws.

The established bylaws may be amended at any time at the request of the commission or upon determination of the board of supervisors by resolution of the board of supervisors. (Ord. 381 § 7, 1978)

2.60.070 Compensation and reimbursement for expenses.

The members of the fish and game commission shall not be entitled to any salary or compensation for their services provided in connection with the activities and duties of the commission, provided however, the necessary travel and incidental expenses incurred by the members of the commission shall be reimbursed by the board of supervisors in accordance with the Alpine County travel policy.
