9.12.010 Loiter defined.

“Loiter,” as used in this chapter, means to delay, to linger or to idle about any public place without a lawful purpose for being present or to delay, to linger or to idle about any public place without the written consent of a parent or legal guardian having legal custody of the minor child. 9.12.020 Curfew for person under eighteen.

No person under the age of eighteen years shall loiter about any public street, avenue, alley, parking lot, park or other public place between the hour of ten p.m., if the next day is a school day, or twelve midnight if the next day is a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday, and the time of sunrise the following day unless accompanied by his or her parent or legal guardian having legal custody and control of his or her person, or by his or her spouse of the age of eighteen years.
