WATER SERVICE DEPOSIT

14.15.010 Required when.
The manager shall require each new applicant and each applicant who has not established credit to put up a cash deposit. The deposit shall be at least ten dollars and the manager may fix a larger amount. (Ord. 273 (part), 1985)
14.15.020 Refunds--Deduction of unpaid charges.
If during twelve consecutive billing periods during which service is continuous, bills have been paid within thirty days from the date of billing, the deposit shall be credited, without interest, to the thirteenth-month bill. When service is discontinued, the deposit for that customer account shall be refunded. Any charges then unpaid may be deducted from the deposit. (Ord. 273 (part), 1985)
