2.24.020 Appointment—Compensation.

The building inspector shall be appointed by the city manager and shall hold office at his pleasure. He shall perform the duties of building inspector as required by law, and such other duties as may be required by the city manager. He shall be paid for his services such sum as the city council may from time to time fix and determine. (Ord. 329 § 3 (d), 1974; Ord. 5 § 2 (part), 1923)
