2.28.010 Bond required.

All regular officers and employees of the town are required to give an official bond, as provided in Section 1480 of the Government Code, in addition to those of the city clerk and city treasurer, who are specifically required by law to give bond. (Ord. 223 § 1, 1956)

2.28.020 Form of bond.

It is deemed expedient by the city council that a form of master bond be used for coverage on all regular officers and employees of the town, except the one pertaining to the city treasurer, which shall be separate. Such bond shall be in the form and for the term as approved by the city council, under Section 36520 of the Government Code. (Ord. 223 § 2, 1956)

2.28.030 Bond for city treasurer.

The city treasurer shall give a separate bond, which is fixed in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars, as recommended by the city attorney. The amount of the master official bond covering all regular officers and employees of the town, including the city clerk, is fixed by the city council in the penal sum of fifty thousand dollars, as recommended by the city attorney.
