3.24.010 Created.

In compliance with the provisions of Article 5, of Chapter 1, of Division I of the streets and Highways Code, as amended by Chapter 642 of the Statutes of 1935, and particularly in pursuance of Section 196 of the Streets and Highways Code, as amended, there is created in the town treasury a special fund to be known and designated “special gas tax street improvement fund.” (Ord. 110 § 1, 1935)

3.24.020 Deposits.

Payments received by the town from the state under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code, and in particular all moneys so received by the town from the state for the acquisition of real property or interest therein for, or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or highways, other than street highways, shall be deposited and paid into the special gas tax street improvement fund. (Ord. 110 § 2, 1935)

3.24.030 Expenditure of funds.

All monies in the fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by Chapter 3 of Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code and of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code, as the same may now exist or from time to time hereafter be amended.
