10.16.010 Commercial vehicles.

No person shall stop, stand or park a commercial vehicle on any street for a period of time longer than thirty minutes between the hours of two a.m. and four a.m. of any day. (Ord. 364 Ch. 7(g) § 1, 1978: Ord. 262 § 1, 1964)

10.16.020 Display of vehicles for sale.

No person shall park a vehicle upon any public right-of-way for the principal purpose of displaying such vehicle for sale. No person shall park a vehicle on private property adjacent to any public right-of-way for the principal purpose of displaying such vehicle for sale without the consent of the owner or principal occupant of the owner or principal occupant of the property. 10.16.030 Vehicle Code definitions.

Whenever any words or phrases used in this chapter are not defined but are defined in the Vehicle Code of the state and amendments thereto, such definition shall apply. (Ord. 364 Ch. 7(g) § 3, 1978: Ord. 262 § 3, 1964)

10.16.040 Places prohibited.

No person shall stop, stand, park or leave standing any vehicle in any of the following places, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or other authorized officer or traffic sign, or signal:

A. In any area where the town has indicated that parking is prohibited by appropriate signs or markings.

B. In any area where the city manager or designee has determined that the parking or stopping of a vehicle would constitute a traffic hazard or would congest traffic or damage landscaping and improvements in the right-of-way, or would endanger life or property, when such area is indicated by no-parking signs or markings.
