LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER TRAINING

2.20.010 Aid for law enforcement officer training.

A. The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.

B. Pursuant to Section 13522 of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the Penal Code, the city will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training. (Ord. 255 N.S. §§ 1, 2, 1968)

2.20.020 Public safety dispatchers—Training aid.

A. The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Section 13522, Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.

B. Pursuant to Section 13510(c) of said Chapter 1, the Cloverdale Police Department will adhere to standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). (Ord. 431-89 N.S. §§ 1, 2, 1989)

2.20.030 Public safety dispatchers—Adherence to standards.

Pursuant to Section 13512 of Chapter 1 of Title 4 Part 4 of the Penal Code, the Commission and its representatives may make such inquires as deemed appropriate by the Commission to ascertain that the Cloverdale Police Department’s public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to the standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
