3.02.010 Bonds.

A. The City Council shall determine which officers of the City must post bonds for the faithful performance and discharge of their respective, official duties. (Gov. Code § 36518 et seq.)

B. Wherever bonds are required of officers of the City, the premiums on such bonds, when given by surety companies, shall be paid by the City. (Ord. 1794)

3.02.020 Oaths.

Before entering upon the officer’s duties, each City officer shall take and file with the City Clerk the constitutional oath of office. (Gov. Code § 36507)
