A. It is unlawful for any person to place, install, use or maintain a compressed natural gas dispensing unit without an operations permit: compressed natural gas dispensing.
B. Any person operating a compressed natural gas dispensing unit within the City in violation of this chapter or terms of any permit issued pursuant to this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction in accordance with CMC 1.08.050(A). (Ord. 1807)
A “compressed natural gas dispensing unit,” whether on public or private property, shall include any device used for the purpose of storing, dispensing or selling of compressed natural gas.
The Director of Fire Services is authorized to issue operations permit: compressed natural gas dispensing.
The application shall be filed no later than 30 days prior to the proposed date of the compressed natural gas dispensing operation.
There is hereby adopted by reference, by the City for the purpose of prescribing rules and regulations for a compressed natural gas dispensing operation, the 1991 Uniform Fire Code, Article 4, Permits, in its entirety.
