3.04.010 Recreation—Receipt of funds.

The recreation commission may accept all moneys appropriated for that purpose by the council or the school district serving this city, or from any other public body, and all donations, legacies or bequests from any other source. (Prior code § 5151)

3.04.020 Recreation—Deposits and warrants.

All such moneys shall be deposited in the treasury of this city in the recreation fund and shall only be paid out after approval by the commission at a regular or special meeting on warrants drawn against said fund and signed by the city clerk. (Prior code § 5152)

3.04.030 Gas tax street improvement—Creation.

To comply with the provisions of Article 5 of Chapter 1 of Division 1 § 180, and following, of the Streets and Highways Code of the state, with particular reference to the amendments made thereto by Chapter 642, Statutes of 1935, there is created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as the “special gas tax street improvement fund.” (Prior code § 1311)

3.04.040 Gas tax street improvement—Source of moneys.

All moneys received by this city from the state under the provisions of the said Streets and Highways Code, for the acquisition of real property or interests therein or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or highways other than state highways, shall be paid into the said fund. 3.04.050 Gas tax street improvement—Expenditures.

All moneys in said fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of the provisions of, Article 5, Chapter 1, Division of the said Streets and Highways Code. (Prior code § 1313)
