10.16.010 Generally.

It is unlawful for commercial vehicles to stop, park, or stand on or along Madera Avenue in the city for the purpose of unloading merchandise, making deliveries of goods, or loading merchandise or picking up goods to and from commercial business or other establishments; and any such unloading, delivery, loading or pick up of merchandise and goods shall be conducted in the alley located between Madera Avenue and Fourth Street in the city or in the alley located between Madera Avenue and Sixth Street in the city.  This section shall be effective only when signs are placed in the areas to which it is applicable clearly indicating the prohibition.  (Ord. 223 §1, 1973:  prior code §9-401).

10.16.020 Violation--Penalty.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than fifty dollars, or imprisoned in the County Jail not more than fifty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.  (Ord. 66 §3, 1952).
