15.28.010 Purpose.

It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to provide a method by which the city may insure that the construction of a mobile home park or the alteration or addition to an existing mobile home park in the city complies with the land use, land division, building, sanitation and other laws and regulations of the city, and that the expense of this procedure will be defrayed in full or part by the applicant.  (Prior code §11-601(part)).

15.28.020 Permit Required.

It is unlawful for any person to construct a mobile home park in the city, or construct additional buildings or lots in an existing mobile home park in the city, or alter buildings, lots, or other installations in an existing mobile home park in the city without first obtaining a permit therefor from the city engineer.  The permit shall be exclusive of and in addition to any other permit required under the laws of the city or any other governmental agency.  (Prior code §11-601(part)).

15.28.030 Permit--Application.

To obtain the permit the applicant shall file with the city engineer a copy of the final plans and specifications of design and construction or alteration of the mobile home park together with a statement describing the water supply, ground drainage and method of sewage and garbage disposal therefor.  (Prior code §11-602).

15.28.040 Permit--Fees.

A plan checking fee shall be paid to the city prior to the issuance of any such permit which fee shall be in accordance with the following schedule:

A. With respect to the construction of a new mobile home park or the addition to an existing mobile home park, a charge shall be made of thirty dollars per included acre, or fraction of included acre, with a minimum charge of seventy-five dollars and a maximum charge of three hundred dollars;

B. With respect to the alteration of an existing mobile home park, a charge shall be made of seventy-five dollars.  (Prior code §11-603).

15.28.050 Permit--Issuance.

If the proposed construction, addition or alteration meet the requirements of all other city ordinances, regulations and permits pertaining to the mobile home park site, the city engineer shall approve the same and issue the permit; provided, that the plan checking fee therefor has been previously paid to the city.  (Prior code §11-604).

15.28.060 Violation--Nuisance.

Any mobile home park construction, alteration, or addition in violation of the provisions of this chapter or any permit issued hereunder shall constitute a public nuisance.  (Prior code §11-605).
