8.12.010 County provisions adopted.

There is adopted by the city for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire and explosion, that certain code known as Title 32 of the Los Angeles County Code, as the same shall from time to time be amended, of which code not less than three copies have been and are now filed in the office of the city clerk, and the same are adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which the ordinance codified in this section takes effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the city. 8.12.020 Fire hazard severity map.

The city council of the city of Palos Verdes Estates hereby designates very high fire hazard severity zones, as recommended by the Director of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the county of Los Angeles Fire Department, as designated on the map entitled “Fire Hazard Severity Zone,” which is on file in the city’s planning department.
