BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS
2.24.010 Created — Composition.
There is established a building board of appeals to also be known as the housing advisory and appeals board which shall consist of five members who are qualified by experience and training in the building construction fields and who shall serve without compensation. 2.24.020 Appointment by city council — Term.
The members of the building board of appeals shall also be known as the housing advisory and appeals board and shall be appointed by the city council and shall hold office at the pleasure of the city council. (Ord. 1976 NCS §3, 1995: Ord. 651 NCS §1: prior code §2.78.)
2.24.030 Secretary of board — Duties and functions.
The building official shall be the secretary of the board and shall keep permanent accurate records of all proceedings before the board and shall perform such administrative functions for the board as may be determined by the board. (Ord. 1976 NCS § 4, 1995: Ord. 651 NCS §1: prior code §2.79.)
2.24.040 Chairman elected — Adoption of rules.
The board shall elect a chairman and, by resolution, shall adopt rules providing for the holding of meetings and the conducting of business. (Ord. 651 NCS §1: prior code §2.80.)
