DEPUTY CITY CLERK

2.08.010 Office created.

There is created the office of deputy city clerk of the city. Such officer shall be appointed by the council shall hold office at the pleasure of the council, and shall receive such salary as may be determined by the council. (Prior code § 2320)

2.08.020 Duties.

The deputy city clerk shall perform such duties relating to the office of city cleric as may be assigned by the latter official. During the absence or disability of the city clerk the deputy clerk shall perform any and all duties required by law to be performed by the city clerk. (Prior code § 2320.1)
