2.18.010 Office appointive—Authority.

Under the authority contained in Section 27550 of the Government Code of the State, the County Office of Surveyor is made appointive, effective January 3, 1955, and the holder of such office shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County upon recommendation by the Public Works Director and County Administrative Officer. 2.18.020 Record of survey examination fee.

Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 8766.5, the County Surveyor may charge a reasonable fee for examining a record of survey. The fee charged for examining a record of survey is established annually within the unified fee schedule adopted by the Board of Supervisors.
