CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY

1.10.010 Claims required.

All claims for money or damages against the city of South Lake Tahoe whether governed or not by the Government Claims Act shall be presented within the time, and in the manner, prescribed by the Government Claims Act. This applies to claims to which the applicable Government Code sections apply by their own terms, as those provisions now exist or shall hereafter be amended, and as further provided by this chapter. All claims shall be presented to the city and acted upon by the city prior to the filing of any action on such claims. (Ord. 1084 § 1 (Exh. A))

1.10.020 Form of claim.

All claims shall be made in writing and verified by the claimant or by his or her guardian, conservator, executor or administrator. In addition, all claims shall contain the information required by California Government Claims Act. (Ord. 1084 § 1 (Exh. A))
