CHAPTER 11. TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS

1-11-1000 QUALIFICATIONS FOR STATE PROGRAM:

The Board of Supervisors hereby declares that the County of Tulare desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of Part 4 of the Penal Code of the State of California, concerning the training of law enforcement officers.

1-11-1005 STANDARDS OF RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING:

In accordance with the provisions of section 13522 of the Penal Code of the State of California, the County of Tulare shall adhere to the standards for recruitment and training of law enforcement officers established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training while receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of Part 4 of the Penal Code of the State of California.

1-11-1010 QUALIFICATIONS FOR STATE PROGRAM:

The Board of Supervisors hereby declares that the County of Tulare desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of Chapter 5 of Title 7 of Part 3 of the Penal Code of the State of California, concerning standards and training of local corrections and probation officers.

1-11-1015 STANDARDS OF SELECTION AND TRAINING:

In accordance with the provisions of section 6041 of the Penal Code of the State of California, the County of Tulare shall adhere to the standards for selection and training of corrections and probation officers established by the California Board of Corrections while the County is receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of Chapter 5 of Title 7 of Part 3 of the Penal Code of the State of California.

1-11-1020 QUALIFICATION FOR STATE PROGRAM:

The Board of Supervisors hereby declares that the County of Tulare desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of section 13522 of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of Part 4 of the Penal Code of the State of California, concerning standards and training of public safety dispatchers.

1-11-1025 STANDARDS OF SELECTION AND TRAINING:

In accordance with the provisions of section 13510(c) of the Penal Code of the State of California, the County of Tulare shall adhere to the standards for selection and training of public safety dispatchers established by the California Board of Corrections while the County is receiving aid from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of section 13522 of Chapter 1 of Title 4 of Part 4 of the Penal Code of the State of California.

1-11-1030 COMMISSION INQUIRIES:

In accordance with the provisions of section 13512 of the Penal Code of the State of California, representatives of the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training may make such inquiries as are reasonably necessary to determine whether the County is adhering to the standards for recruitment and training of public safety dispatchers for which the county is receiving aid from the State of California.
