ALCOHOL IN PUBLIC PLACES

9.04.010 Drinking--Having or leaving open containers.

Any person who has in his possession upon a public sidewalk or public street of the city of Angels an open container, glass or cup which contains any alcoholic beverage, or any person who leaves upon a public sidewalk or public street of the city an open container, glass or cup which contains any alcoholic beverage, or any person drinking alcoholic beverage from any container, glass or cup upon a public sidewalk or public street of the city, is guilty of a misdemeanor. 9.04.020 Violation--Penalty.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not to, exceed six months, or by both fine and imprisonment. (Ord. 166 §2, 1966)
