2.36.010 General municipal election—Date established.

The general municipal election for the offices of City Councilmembers, City Treasurer and City Clerk shall be held on the day of the school district elections as set forth in Section 2602 of the Elections Code on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November in odd numbered years commencing November, 1985. (Ord. 913 § 1, 1982)

2.36.030 City officers—Election—Terms of office.

The terms of City officers elected in November 1985, and in each subsequent general municipal election shall be, in accordance with State law, for a term of four years, from the Tuesday succeeding their election and until their successors are elected and qualified.
