10.60.010 Emission of hazardous substances on public property.
No person shall park or leave any vehicle or trailer of any kind on public property, or operate any vehicle or trailer across public property if the vehicle or trailer leaks, emits, or spills oil, gasoline, transmission fluid, radiator fluid or any other hazardous substance. For the purpose of this section, public property specifically includes public streets, rights-of-way, parking lots, and parking areas. In addition to the penalty assessment provided for in GMC 1.05.090, a person found to have violated this section shall be liable to the town for any cost or expense incurred in cleaning, sanitizing or otherwise removing the hazardous substance from public property and for any cost or expense incurred in towing and storing the vehicle or trailer from public property.
