VETERANS MEMORIAL COLISEUM REVITALIZATION NON-REVERTING FUND

3.29.010 Creation of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund.

The Vanderburgh County Auditor shall establish a fund entitled “Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund” and shall deposit all grants and/or donations from the state or federal government or any other source into such fund.

3.29.020 Purpose of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund.

The purpose of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund shall be to provide funds for the repair, renovation and/or revitalization of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

3.29.030 Appropriation of Funds.

The Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund shall require appropriation by the Vanderburgh County Council, and such monies shall be spent in accordance with the general rules as to which other Vanderburgh County funds are subject. Additionally, if required by the Vanderburgh County Council, a salary ordinance shall be created when necessary to allow for personnel expenses to be paid from revenues in the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund.

3.29.040 Investment and Non-Reversion of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund.

All payments placed into the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Revitalization Non-Reverting Fund shall be invested and reinvested pursuant to standard procedures followed by Vanderburgh County, and said funds and interest derived therefrom shall not revert to Vanderburgh County’s general operating fund at the end of each year, but shall instead remain within such fund.
