9.12.010 Electronic stun devices.

A. It is unlawful, within the unincorporated area of the county, for any person to use an electronic stun device (a device which is designed to deliver an electric shock to the body or person of another) for any purpose other than self-defense.

B. It is further unlawful for any person to possess such electronic stun device who:

1. Has been convicted of a felony in the United States or the State of Nevada, or in any state or territory of the United States or any public subdivision thereof;

2. Is a fugitive from justice;

3. Is an unlawful user or seller of narcotics; or

4. Is under the age of eighteen years. (Ord. 5-5-86 § 1)
