9.80.010 Purchase--Prohibited.

No person under the age of twenty-one years shall attempt to purchase, purchase or acquire alcoholic liquor. Except when such minor is in a private residence accompanied by his parent or guardian and with such parent’s or guardian’s consent, no person under the age of twenty-one years shall have in his possession alcoholic liquor; provided however, this section does not prohibit the consumption by any person of sacramental wine as part of a religious rite or service. (Ord. 1017 §1, 1971; Ord. 306 §26, 1951).

9.80.020 Sale to--Prohibited.

A. No person shall sell alcoholic liquor to any person under the age of twenty-one years.

B. No person other than his parent or guardian shall give or otherwise make available any alcoholic liquor to any person under the age of twenty-one years. (Ord. 1018 §1, 1971; Ord. 306 §32, 1951).

9.80.030 Employment in liquor establishment--Prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person operating any establishment licensed under the laws of the state to vend or distribute intoxicating liquor to engage or permit any minor to handle, distribute or sell any intoxicating liquor. (Ord. 306 §27, 1951).
