2.45.010 Intent.

It is the intent of the city councils of the city of Coos Bay and the city of North Bend to amend the existing intergovernmental agreement entitled “An Agreement Establishing the Coos Bay/North Bend Tourism and Promotions Committee: An Intergovernmental Entity of the City of Coos Bay and the City of North Bend” (the agreement). [Ord. 358 § 1, 2004; Ord. 245 § 1, 1997].

2.45.020 Effective date.

The amendment to the agreement shall become effective upon the later date of execution of the amendment to the agreement by the city of Coos Bay and the city of North Bend. [Ord. 358 § 2, 2004; Ord. 246 § 1, 1997; Ord. 245 § 2, 1997].

2.45.030 Purpose.

The purpose of the amendment to the agreement is to include as an additional board member to the Coos Bay/North Bend tourism and promotions committee a representative of the business community of Charleston. Such additional board member will not have the right to vote. [Ord. 358 § 3, 2004; Ord. 245 § 3, 1997].

2.45.040 Powers, duties and functions of the intergovernmental entity.

The committee shall, to the extent provided by law, have all the powers, duties and functions specifically delegated or necessarily implied to it by the agreement. [Ord. 245 § 4, 1997].
