ADOPTION OF STATE LAWS

9.06.010 Oregon Criminal Code adopted.

Violation of any provision of ORS Chapters 161 through 167, as now or hereafter constituted, is an offense against this city. (Ord. 2827 §2(part), 1998)

9.06.020 Oregon Uniform Controlled Substances Act adopted.

Violation of any provision of ORS Chapter 475, as now or hereafter constituted, is an offense against this city.  (Ord. 2827 §2(part), 1998)

9.06.030 Oregon Liquor Control Act adopted.

Violation of any provision of ORS Chapters 471 and 472, as now or hereafter constituted, is an offense against this city.  (Ord. 2827 §2(part), 1998)

9.06.035 Oregon State Civil Forfeiture Code adopted.

The provisions of ORS 131A.005 through 131A.460, as now or hereafter constituted, are herein adopted specifically granting the city authority to seek civil forfeiture in nondrug-related cases as well as drug-related cases pursuant to the state law provisions outlined in this section.  (Ord. 3006 §2, 2011)

9.06.040 Jurisdiction.

In the above acts, codes and laws of the state of Oregon which are adopted hereby, the city shall have jurisdiction over infractions, violations, offenses and misdemeanors only.  (Ord. 2827 §2(part), 1998)

9.06.050 Severability.

Should any section or provision of this chapter or laws adopted hereby be declared unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of this chapter as a whole, or any part thereof, except that part so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.  (Ord. 2827 §2(part), 1998)
