2.25.010 Title.

This chapter shall be known as the Marion County personnel rules and shall be so cited and pleaded. [Ord. 1221 § 1, 2006.]

2.25.020 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to adopt new Marion County personnel rules and repeal Ordinance No. 1039, as amended, which was a codification of the personnel rules. [Ord. 1221 § 2, 2006.]

2.25.030 Adoption.

The Marion County personnel rules, attached to Ordinance No. 1221 and incorporated herein, are hereby adopted. [Ord. 1221 § 3, 2006.]

2.25.040 Amendment.

The amendments to the Marion County personnel rules, attached to Ordinance No. 1275 and incorporated herein, are hereby adopted. [Ord. 1275 § 2, 2008.]

2.25.050 Second amendment.

The amendments to the Marion County personnel rules, attached to Ordinance No. 1315 and incorporated herein, are hereby adopted. [Ord. 1315 § 2, 2011.]

The amendments to the Marion County personnel rules, attached to Ordinance No. 1370 and incorporated herein, are hereby adopted. [Ord. 1370 § 2, 2016.]

The amendments to the Marion County personnel rules, attached to Ordinance No. 1457 and incorporated herein, are hereby adopted. [Ord. 1457 § 2, 2023.]

2.25.070 Temporary addendum – Telecommuting.

The board adopts a temporary addendum to Marion County personnel rules, allowing department heads to authorize telecommuting for those employees whose work may be performed remotely during the state of Oregon declared emergency related to novel coronavirus COVID-19, until such state of emergency is ended by the Governor.
