MARIJUANA ON COUNTY PROPERTY

8.75.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to prohibit the possession or use of marijuana on county-owned or leased property. [Ord. 1355 § 1, 2015.]
8.75.020 Possession or use of marijuana on county property prohibited.
A. Possession or use of marijuana on property owned or leased by Marion County is prohibited, except when lawfully required as part of the job duties for law enforcement or criminal justice personnel.
B. Violation of subsection (A) of this section is considered a Class A violation as provided in ORS Chapter 153. Enforcement shall be accomplished through Chapter 1.25 MCC.
C. The provisions of this section are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other procedures and remedies provided by law.
D. If the person who knowingly violates the provisions of this section is a Marion County employee the employee may be subject to discipline. [Ord. 1355 § 2, 2015.]
