WORK BY CITY EMPLOYEES ON PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY

Helper City employees shall not perform work on privately owned property, except as required for public safety functions, the reading of utility meters, or other duties as may be required by city ordinances or Utah state law, unless the work proposed meets the following criteria:

A. The proposed project shall be approved in advance by the city council;

B. The property owner shall provide written permission for access to the property;

C. The property owner shall provide a written release of liability holding Helper City harmless for any damage to the owner’s property, or, if required by the city council, a written agreement shall be executed between the city and the owner setting forth any additional conditions required.
