It is the intention of the city council that the titles, chapters, parts, sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this code are severable. If any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, part, chapter, or title of this code shall be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining part of this code shall not be affected. The council declares that it would have adopted each part of this code irrespective of the validity of any other part. (Ord. 10/02/2007O-14 § 1 (Exh. A)(1.04))
