2.60.010 Water department and system.
The water department of the city is hereby created. It shall administer the operation and maintenance of the culinary and secondary water system of the city. [Ord. 7-19-05-1 § 1 (Exh. A). Code 1997 § 14-1-10.]
2.60.020 Director.
There is hereby created the position of director of the water department. [Ord. 7-19-05-1 § 1 (Exh. A). Code 1997 § 14-1-11.]
2.60.030 Duties of the director.
The director of the water system shall manage and supervise the city water systems pursuant to the provisions of RCC Title 13 and pursuant to the state drinking water rules, as well as resolutions, rules, ordinances and regulations adopted by the city council from time to time prescribing his powers and duties and directing the manner and frequency with which he shall make reports to the city manager and the mayor relating to the water system. All of the functions and activities of the director shall be carried on under the direction of the city manager and the mayor. [Ord. 7-19-05-1 § 1 (Exh. A). Code 1997 § 14-1-12.]
