It shall be unlawful for any person to violate the terms of a restraining order issued by a court of competent jurisdiction. For the purposes of this chapter, a “court of competent jurisdiction” shall include courts within the state of Washington and courts outside the state of Washington that, at the time the restraining order was issued, had valid personal jurisdiction over the restrained party. 9.06.020 Violation – Penalty.
Any person who wilfully violates this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 97-525 § 1, 1997)
