8.15.010 Definitions.

As used in this chapter, the term “recreational fires” means cooking fires and charcoal barbecues, campfires, and bonfires in designated areas or on private property for cooking, pleasure, or ceremonial purposes. Fires lit in chimineas, fire pits, fire bowls, and similar freestanding devices (except burn barrels) fall under this definition. [Ord. 440 § 2, 2019]

8.15.020 Conditions for burning.

(1) There shall be no outdoor burning within the town of Beaux Arts Village except recreational fires.

(2) Recreational fires may not be conducted within 25 feet of a structure or combustible material. Conditions that could cause a fire to potentially spread to within 25 feet of a structure shall be eliminated prior to igniting the fire.

(3) There shall be no outdoor burning of any kind within the town of Beaux Arts Village during a PSCAA-regulated burn ban.

(4) The burning of yard debris, construction materials, or trash is not allowed at any time. [Ord. 440 § 2, 2019]
