A. Except as amended by this chapter, the following codes, published by the International Code Council, as now and hereafter amended by the state of Washington, are hereby adopted by reference:

1. 2021 International Building Code and Appendix E – Chapter 51-50 WAC;

2. 2021 International Residential Code and Appendix AT – Chapter 51-51 WAC;

3. 2021 International Mechanical Code – Chapter 51-52 WAC;

4. 2021 International Fuel Gas Code – Chapter 51-52 WAC;

5. 2021 International Property Maintenance Code;

6. 2021 International Existing Building Code – Chapter 51-50 WAC;

7. 2021 International Energy Conservation Code – Chapter 51-11R WAC;

8. 2017 ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessibility Code and Appendix E;

9. 2021 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code – Chapter 51-51 WAC.

B. Except as amended by this chapter, the following codes, published by the National Fire Protection Association, as now and hereafter amended by the state of Washington, are hereby adopted by reference:

1. 2021 National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) – Chapter 51-52 WAC; and

2. 2020 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code (NFPA 58) – Chapter 51-52 WAC.

C. Except as amended by this chapter, the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, Chapter 51-56 WAC, as now and hereafter amended by the state of Washington, is hereby adopted by reference.

D. The 2023 National Electric Code (NFPA 70), as amended by Chapter 296-46B WAC, is hereby adopted by reference.
