FORFEITURES FUND

3.72.010 Created.

There is created a special revenue fund to be known as the “forfeitures fund,” into which shall be placed forfeitures of the proceeds and instrumentalities of illegal drug activities pursuant to BLMC 9.36.030 and RCW 69.50.505 and forfeitures of the proceeds and instrumentalities of felonies pursuant to RCW 10.105.010. (Ord. 744 § 2, 1997).

3.72.020 Use of funds.

Forfeited property and net proceeds retained in the forfeitures fund and not required to be paid to the State Treasurer shall be used exclusively for the expansion and improvement of controlled substances-related law enforcement activity. (Ord. 744 § 3, 1997).
