BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENTS
AND LOT COMBINATIONS
Sections:
17.56.010 Boundary line adjustments.
17.56.020 Lot combinations.
17.56.010 Boundary line adjustments.
Boundary line adjustments are Type 1 permits (see Chapter 14.30 BLMC). The application form for boundary line adjustment shall specify the submittal requirements. A property survey by a licensed land surveyor is required unless the director(s) determines that a survey is not necessary because the adjustment is of a single common property line between parcels in the same subdivision, in which case the proposed boundary line adjustment may be drawn onto a copy of the recorded plat. The approval criterion shall be in conformance with BLMC 17.40.020(D). Boundary line adjustments shall be effective upon filing for record. (Ord. 988 § 2, 2003).
17.56.020 Lot combinations.
Lot combinations are Type 1 permits (see Chapter 14.30 BLMC). Generally, their purpose is to erase an internal lot line within a contiguous ownership in order to build a structure over said lot line or closer to said lot line than code allows. The application form shall specify the submittal requirements. The approval criterion shall be in conformance with the zoning code. Lot combinations shall be effective upon filing for record. (Ord. 988 § 2, 2003).
