13.04.010 Purpose.

The purpose of this title is to implement the Shoreline Management Act of 1971 (Chapter 286, Laws of 1971, First Extraordinary Session), Chapter 90.58 RCW as amended, and to regulate development of the shorelines of the city in a manner consistent with the policy declared in Section 2 of that Act and RCW 90.58.020 as amended. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).

13.04.020 Definitions – Generally.

The definitions set forth in Chapter 11.02 BMC apply to this title and are supplemented by the definitions of the shoreline master program adopted by Chapter 13.12 BMC and in RCW 90.58.030, as amended. In the event of a conflict, the definitions in RCW 90.58.030 shall prevail, unless the context otherwise requires. (Ord. 1630 § 1, 1996).
