It is unlawful for any person except an officer in the proper discharge of his duty to fire or shoot any pistol, gun or other firearm, or to discharge any air gun, air pistol, slingshot, BB gun, or other contrivance or mechanical device which expels bullets or slugs or projectiles of any kind. (Ord. 183 § 2, 1954)
8.04.030 Violation—Penalty.
Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the jail, not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
