KILLING AND SLAUGHTERING OF ANIMALS IN PUBLIC

9.34.030    Violation—Penalty.

9.34.010 Slaughtering or killing of animals or fowl.

No person shall kill or slaughter any animal or fowl within the city.

A.    Exceptions: Any person authorized by the city may dispatch or destroy certain animals or fowl, i.e., injured or vicious. (Ord. 388 § 1, 1990)

9.34.020 Dressing or butchering.

No person shall dress or butcher an animal or fowl so as to unreasonably expose such act or acts to the view of any person on public or private property. (Ord. 388 § 2, 1990)

9.34.030 Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars. (Ord. 388 § 3, 1990)
