LEAVING CHILDREN UNATTENDED*

9.76.010 Offenses designated—Unattended defined.

A.    It is unlawful for any person or persons, whether the same be parent, agent, guardian or in a supervisory capacity of any minor child under the age of seven years, to leave the same unattended in any vehicle in or upon a public way or place inside the town limits.

B.    “Unattended,” as used in this section means that the minor child is left without someone of suitable age being constantly with them. (Ord. 254 (part), 1979)
